QUIRKY, WITH AN EDGE
In 1978, Fumio Mieda designed the Korg MS-20. This has made a lot of people very happy and been widely regarded as a good move.
This synthesizer set itself apart from its contemporaries with its aggressive dual filter design and flexible patch bay, both of which were heavily exploited to create this drum library.
Each drum sound has been sampled five times with varying filter resonance and attack, allowing the user to have a pseudo-acoustic relationship with these drum samples—the harder a note is hit, the more the drum sound "opens up".
